Product Description
A Savant Elite2 foot pedals are an excellent ergonomic enhancer to reduce hand and arm strain and repetition from mouse clicks and awkward key combinations. The dual foot pedal is the most popular member of the Savant Elite2 family. Factory programming provides left and right mouse click actions. It’s ideal for user’s who want to activate mouse clicks or offload one or two keying tasks. The new driverless programming makes it quick and easy to change the pedal to perform keyboard actions and productivity-enhancing macros.
The Savant Elite2’s unique driverless all-platform programmability is based on the transient creation of a virtual removable disk in programming mode. On that disk resides a tiny simple-text file which defines the actions of up to 3 pedals and 4 input jacks covering all the various configurations of Savant Elite2 devices. Virtually any text editing program can be used to edit the pedal/jack assignments and then re-save the file as “plain text” or “simple text.” Backup files can be stored with different names and in different locations. Only the file named “pedals.txt” located in the “active” folder on the Savant Elite2’s virtual disk drive is used to assign the actions.

The 2-jack control module bundled with a single pedal is ideal for situations where you want the smallest possible pedal, or where you need the pedal away from the control module. The control module has a 9 foot USB cable connecting to the computer, and the foot switch has its own 10 foot cable connecting to the control module with a mini-phono plug. Factory programming provides left and right mouse click actions. It’s ideal for user’s who want to activate mouse clicks or offload one or two keying tasks. The new driverless programming makes it quick and easy to change the pedal to perform keyboard actions and productivity-enhancing macros.

Recessed programming switch accessible from underside of unit, except on waterproof units, programming mode also accessible by holding a pedal briefly while connecting USB cable to open virtual removable disk
Pedals are front-hinged and rounded for easy triggering, made from black, glass-reinforced nylon
Low profile design, combined with heavy steel base prevents unit from accidentally moving on the floor
Both pedals are adjustable by moving slightly closer together
