The Voice Tracker™ I Desktop Array Microphone contains 8 separate microphones that work together to form a "listening beam" focused on the talker. The listening beam creates spatial filtering, causing outstanding signal to noise ratios. The beam automatically and electronically steers to new talker making the Voice Tracker ideal for recording large groups as well as individuals and comes in three versions with multiple accessories. The Voice Tracker I comes with a 6 foot audio cable and wall power converter for USA voltage/plug.
The Voice Tracker™ II Desktop Array Microphone contains 6 separate microphones that work together to form a "listening beam" that automatically focuses on the talker.Audio output is digital through its USB connection or analog through a 3.5 mm jack, switchable between mic level or line level. The Voice Tracker™ II includes an embedded Acoustic Echo Canceller to facilitate full duplex VoIP conferencing. Power is provided from the USB connection to a PC, or an optional USB wall power converter The Voice Tracker™ II comes with a 6 foot USB cable, along with a 6 foot audio cable and splitter for the AEC reference signal.
The Voice Tracker I USB Array Microphone is the standard Voice Tracker I Array Microphone plus the USB adapter.
Voice Tracker Optional Accessories:
USB Wall Power Converter: The Voice Tracker™ II Desktop Array Microphone is powered through its USB cable. If it is not connected to a PC, power can be provided from this optional USB wall power converter. This converter is for USA plug/voltage. Power output is 500mw, 5 V DC Similar converters could be purchased by the user for other country’s plug/voltage.
DB 9 Connector Cable: The Voice Tracker™ II Desktop Array Microphone has a location signal output as a serial word through its DB- 9 jack This optional connector cable allows connection to a PC or other device to read that signal.
Audio Cable: This audio cable has male 3.5mm plugs on each end. It is a replacement for the cable that comes with the Voice Tracker™ I. It is also used with the Voice Tracker™ II as an option if the audio connection is not thru the provided USB cable.
USB Adapter: The USB adapter is a VXI USB duplex (two way)adapter that digitizes the audio in USB format. The USB adapter is useful for computers with average quality soundcards and computers with no soundcards.
