The plug-and-play Savant Elite2 switch interface from Kinesis gives users unparalleled assistive access to Windows and Macintosh computers. It can accommodate up to 4 switches at a time and can connect to any computer or tablet with a full-size USB port. With the Savant Elite2 switch interface, you can custom program the switch of your choice to deliver any keyboard action or mouse click. Savant Elite2 switch interfaces are easy to set up because they don’t require any software or special drivers.
Unlike other switch interfaces on the market that only let you choose from a menu of pre-programmed actions, the Savant Elite2 can be programmed to meet the specific needs of any user, or programmed to work with any software application. The Savant Elite2 can deliver single key actions, key combinations, shortcuts, media controls, text macros and mouse clicks. The possibilities are endless. The Savant Elite2 can even store dozens of different profiles so a single device can be used in a shared computer environment to provide different functions depending on the user.
Custom programming a Savant Elite2 switch interface is easy thanks to Kinesis’ SmartSet technology. To program, simply slide the programming switch on the backside of the device. Then run the SmartSet configuration application when it pops up on your computer. The SmartSet App makes custom programming intuitive thanks to a simple graphical user interface. When you’re done programming, simply click the Save button and then slide the switch back, and its ready to use.
Please note: The SmartSet configuration application is not compatible with Linux and Chrome. Users with those operating systems will have to reprogram the device directly.
